Every tear for the martyr Hussien that falls from our eye
For every tear we shed and for every tear that we cry
His Mother Fatemah does come and she collects every tear
Our cries and screams Lady Fatemah does hear
Then she takes them in her hand and for us does say a prayer
Then Fatemah uses these tears to fill up the heavenly well of Kawther
Hussain(as) the saviour of Islam

Oh Hussain you fought the tyrants and their Oppression
Oh Hussain you taught us defence against aggression
Against an umayyad onslaught of arrogance and transgression
You gave your head Hussain and saved Islams every generation
